Helene is a wonderful member of our team, who reads at any spare moment in her haven of being surrounded by stacks of books. She is our expert on all-things-fantasy and also loves macabre novels, especially in our Teen and YA section. Helene worked in a primary school before her bookselling days, so she is brilliant at working with children and still loves to help children discover a love of reading. She particularly loves classic picture books that she read to her own children as they grew up, and therefore has fond memories of many wonderful books she recommends to families in the shop. Helene also loves cats, and she is a very keen gardener who can often be found curating her allotment.
