  Gamebook Club is a group playthrough session in which participating children steer the adventure! This month's book is Shadow Chaser, written by Simon Tudhope and illustrated by Tom Knight, from the Usborne Adventure Gamebook series. Each child receives a copy of the book and a pair of dice so they can read along, vote on decisions and take it in turns to make rolls. Along the way, we'll encounter death-defying chases, shadowy enemies and fiendish puzzles. Unlike most bookclub-type events, the only requirement is that participants are discouraged from reading the book beforehand!
