Pomona the Cat Witch: Tor Freeman (Author/Illustrator Visit)

We can't wait to welcome Tor Freeman back to the shop! Tor is the author and illustrator of many brilliant books, including the popular Boss of the Underworld series. Tor will be joining us to celebrate her latest book, Pomona: Stories of the Cat Witch, on Thursday 29th October. This event will consist of Halloween fun, perfect for families during the Half Term holiday.

About the event: Join acclaimed author Tor Freeman as she introduces Pomona, the feline heroine of her brand new picture book. Pomona is a cat-witch, and, along with her quirky group of friends, is learning all the time about how to find magic in every part of life. This gorgeous interactive event, perfectly timed for Halloween, will involve sharing stories, a spell-binding live draw-along, and possibly a bit of magic too!

About the author/illustrator: Tor Freeman is a local author and illustrator who has been published in the UK and internationally during her career that spans over 20 years. She is a regular contributor to magazines including Mes Premières Belles Histoires, Pomme d'Api, and POLLE and had two ongoing strips in the weekly story comic, The Phoenix. Tor's recent graphic novel series, Boss of the Underworld, is incredibly popular and she is the illustrator of many other favourites, including Colossal Words for Kids.

Children aged 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult. All tickets cover 1 child with accompanying adult(s).

This event is ideal for ages 3-8.

Tickets are £14.99, including a hardback copy of Pomona: Stories of the Cat Witch for collection on the day of the event.
