Podkin One-Ear author event with Kieran Larwood

The Podkin-One Ear books (aka Five Realms series) are firm favourites with Alligator's Mouth staff, customers and local teachers. So we're very excited to welcome author Kieran Larwood to the shop. Kieran will give a Q&A for fands followed by a fantasy map-drawing exercise. His visit coincides with the paperback release of the seventh in the series, Podkin and the Singing Spear. The £5 ticket price is redeemable against any of the books in the Podkin series bought on the day. Fancy dress is encouraged but not compulsory.

Kieran Larwood is the author of the middle-grade fantasy series Five Realms and The Carnival of the Lost. He taught Reception class in a primary school for fifteen years before becoming a full-time author. He lives on the Isle of Wight.

The Five Realms is a series of epic children’s fantasy stories set in a world of rabbits. The Legend of Podkin One-Ear won the Blue Peter Book Award 2017, the Prix Sorcieres 2019, was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize 2018 and nominated for the Carnegie Award 2018. It has also been optioned for television.
