Jane Newberry: Author Event

Join the wonderful author Jane Newberry for a fantastic rhyme and singalong event, inspired by her fun book Big Red Dragon!

Jane is an author who uses her experience as a music teacher to create wonderful action rhymes for children. Jane will be visiting us for a lovely interactive session to celebrate the paperback publication of Big Red Dragon.

About Big Red Dragon: Find hamsters, dogs, robins and unicorns, little cars and big diggers, stomp like a dinosaur or fly like a big red dragon in this beautifully illustrated collection of 15 action rhymes, each with clear instructions for the parent or carer on how to act out the rhymes. Rhymes celebrate festivals and special events, such as Easter, Halloween, Diwali, Christmas and Chinese New Year. This book is a perfect companion to Jane Newberry’s very popular first collection, Big Green Crocodile, which was shortlisted for the CLiPPA award. At home, playgroup or nursery, the rhymes provide fun while also nurturing children’s responses to language, rhyme and images.

This event is ideal for ages 2-6.

All tickets cover 1 adult and 1 child. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event. A separate ticket is not required for accompanying adults.
