Christmas Creative Writing Course with Mariah Mannae

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting another Christmas creative writing course with Mariah Mannae! This Christmas special will be a 3-week course taking place this December, and your ticket will cover the entire course.

These Christmas sessions will take place on the following dates:

Session 1: Thursday 3rd December 2026

Session 2: Thursday 10th December 2026

Session 3: Thursday 17th December 2026

Mariah's courses have been sold out at The Alligator's Mouth for over a year and our Christmas course last year was a huge success. These sessions allow participants to build their own Christmas stories, guided by Mariah, with the opportunity to share ideas and progress with their peers. These sessions are hugely popular, so we recommend securing your space as soon as possible.

Mariah's classes are designed to promote creativity, confidence, literary technique and imaginative thinking. The write your own story classes will consist of imaginative based games and writing activities that spark originality, voice and world building. The classes are all about community, creativity and connection; allowing young writers to explore new ideas in a collaborative space, working towards crafting their own unique narrative which they will finish by the end of the course.

This Christmas, participants will:

✍️ Discover new writing techniques

📖 Develop and edit their own original piece

📚 Take home a finished piece of work

🎤 Share their work at the end of the workshop (optional)
