Axel Scheffler: Illustrator Signing

We are delighted to be welcoming the brilliant Axel Scheffler back to the shop for a public signing on Saturday 28th June. Axel is the bestselling illustrator of beloved classics including The Gruffalo, Stick Man, Kind, and many more. A close friend and supporter of the shop, Axel often visits us to sign and dedicate books for his many fans.

To celebrate his latest release - Welcome, come along to meet Axel! He will be signing books from The Alligator's Mouth, either bought on the day or by ordering in advance. On this occasion, due to limited time, unfortunately Axel will not be able to sign additional books brought from home.

RSVP is not necessary, but please be prepared to queue outside! Axel will be able to meet customers on a first come, first served basis after those who have attended the drawing demonstration event taking place the hour before.

Due to limited time, we cannot guarantee that Axel will be able to meet everyone. If you cannot attend, or we run out of time at the event, purchased books can be reserved at the shop and signed at a later date, ready for collection within a week.

For ONLINE ORDERS:  IN THE NOTES AT CHECKOUT please include your dedication (name only) and if you are attending on Saturday or plan to collect at a future date.
