Axel Scheffler: Illustrator Signing

We are delighted to be welcoming the brilliant Axel Scheffler back to the shop for a public signing on Saturday 23rd November. Axel is the bestselling illustrator of beloved classics including The Gruffalo, Stick Man, Tabby McTat, and many more. A close friend and supporter of the shop, Axel often visits us to sign and dedicate books for his many fans.

This year, just in time for Christmas, you can come along to meet Axel, and he will be signing books from The Alligator's Mouth, either bought on the day or by ordering in advance. On this occasion, due to limited time, unfortunately Axel will not be able to sign additional books brought from home.

RSVP is not necessary, but please be prepared to queue! Due to limited time, we cannot guarantee that Axel will be able to meet everyone. We suggest arriving early as Axel will be able to meet customers on a first come, first served basis. If you cannot attend, or we run out of time at the event, purchased books can be reserved at the shop and signed at a later date, ready for collection before Christmas.
